YOUR MISSION IS TO SAVE LIFE ON EARTH

So get started - it's easy. First, download the app, register and log in.

After a few intro screens, you'll land on your dashboard screen.

As you play the game, you should try your best to earn gold (points) by either:

1. Submitting sightings of animals, plants and fungi you find in the wild, or

2. identifying the sightings of other players.

(You will discover other ways to earn gold as you play).

SUBMIT A SIGHTING

First, find an interesting bird, insect, reptile, plant, fungi - any living thing that's wild (not domesticated).

To submit a sighting of it, you can either take a new photo with your device, or you can load an existing photo from your device's gallery. Or you can upload photos from your own camera via http://bee.questagame.com.

You can earn bonus points by correctly identifying your sighting and by adding field notes.

Everyone has a daily sighting submission limit. However you can raise your limit by identifying sightings.

Via your 'Settings', you can also choose to share your sightings with biodiversity researchers to support science and the environment. 

IDENTIFY THE SIGHTINGS OF OTHER PLAYERS

To identify sightings, you can go to "QuestaLab" (bottom right).

If you prefer to identify sightings on your computer, go to http://bee.questagame.com

OTHER FUN STUFF

That's all you need to know to start having fun, earning gold, increasing your species collection and move up the leaderboard.

As you get more familiar with the game, you'll discover some extra fun stuff.

You can go to Dashboard > Maps and enter augmented reality (AR) mode, testing your ID skills and capturing “tags” from other players.

Check out Menu > BioQuests to see what BioQuest competitions are happening.

You can join and create quests, which gives you bonus gold and allows you to collect species from other players.

Ot go to Menu > Challenge and challenge other players to head-to-head challenges.  

You can go to Menu > Shop and buy some better equipment (for faster, more detailed, verifications of your sightings).

You can even join a clan. Go to Menu > Clan, choose a clan and click ‘Request an invite’, or ‘Join clan’ if you've already received an invite. Once you're part of a clan, you can communicate with your fellow clan members and work together to increase your score.
